LHS Students Continue Tradition

Leadore High School celebrates the first day of the 2019-2020 school year by

carrying on the tradition of painting the L and cooling off with a spectacular

water-palooza.

Seniors supervised and helped with the work; Juniors mixed the lime; Sophomores hauled buckets of water, with some help; Freshmen poured the lime on the L to make it eye-popping white for the new year; 7th and 8th graders gathered rocks to fill in the gaps.

The highlight of the day was the extremely refreshing water-palooza! Everyone

Participated, willing or not. Teachers were sabotaged, kids were dunked, and fun was had by all. After a quick snack, everyone headed back to school with a sense of camaraderie and excited for the new year
