Lady Mustangs Make It to the Second Night Of Districts

The Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Blackfoot on Saturday October 19th, for their first day of districts.

Their first match up was against the North Gem Cowboys. They were able to defeat the Cowboys in 4 sets with a score of 3-1. They then proceeded to play the Watersprings Warriors. According to the team they made Watersprings nervous. They played hard and were able to score in double digits each match, but they were unable to secure the win.

They finished up the day by playing the Clark County Bobcats. Jentry Bruce suffered from an injury and was unable to play during the game. This set the Mustangs back a little as they were accustomed to Jentry's strong back row play as well as her serving. Despite the minor set back the Mustangs were able to beat the Bobcats in five sets and move on to the next day of competition.

The Mustangs will travel back to Blackfoot Saturday the 26th and make an attempt to secure the second place position. The Mustangs will compete against Mackay and if they win they will advance to the second place game and play against the loser of the Watersprings/Rockland game.  Good Luck Ladies!
