Happy Holidays everyone! A few reminders as we get closer to Christmas Break. Please have your Secret Santa gifts to the office ASAP. December 12th is ideal so the school can make sure everyone has a gift by the 19th! Talk to Tana with any questions. The student body is asking for each family (JH and HS only) to bring one frozen pizza. This will be for lunch on the 19th. Lastly, on the 19th feel free to wear your favorite Christmas PJs, bring snow gear, and be ready for some fun Reindeer Games! Call the school with any questions!

Basketball season is now in full swing. We are excited to support the student-athletes in our school. We have some really amazing kids! We would like to encourage everyone to attend as many games as possible. As you may know, the schedule is not concrete, and there are always going to be changes throughout the year. I really wish we didn't have to make changes, but in a small school, there are many things out of our control, such as teams dropping their program, snow days, etc. If you have an old schedule, it is probably wrong. I have updated all of the times and dates on the website and the app. If anyone wants a paper copy, I will have the most up-to-date schedule available at the school. FYI: For the next two weeks, here is the schedule. Tuesday, December 3rd, (today) the High School Girls will play at home against Salmon at 7:00. Thursday, December 5th, we will travel to Taylor's Crossing. Girls will play at 5:30 and Boys at 7:00. Friday, December 6th, the Junior High Girls will have their last game of the season at home against Clark at 5:00. After that game, the High School Boys will play Clark at home at 6:30.
Next week, we have two home games. Thursday, December 12th, JV Boys vs. Mackay at 5:00, Varsity Girls at 6:00, and Varsity Boys at 7:30. On Friday, December 13th we host North Gem. Girls game at 4:30 and Boys game at 6:00. Go Mustangs!!!!

The 8th grade class is selling Holiday pine swags again this year...$15.00 each.
Please contact one of the students or Tana/Tawna if you'd like to place an order for one. We are trying to get a count by Friday, December 6th so we know how many to make. Thanks for your support!

The school is looking for someone to run the elementary basketball program. K-4th grade. Contact the school if interested! Go Mustangs.

Parents, please turn in your ski paperwork after Thanksgiving, December 2, 2024! Have a great break!

There are 2 girls' basketball games at home tonight against Challis. JV will play 2 quarters starting at 5:30. Varsity will follow and could possibly start a little before 6:30, but it should be close to that time. Please come support the girls and cheer them on. Also, as a reminder, elementary students need to be supervised at all sporting events. We do not want anyone getting hurt. We will be locking the Multipurpose Room to try to mitigate some of the issues we have been having. We look forward to seeing everyone that can come support the team. Go Lady Mustangs!!!!

There was a typo on the elementary ski paperwork. The first ski day will be THURSDAY, JANUARY 9TH NOT the 6th. Sorry for the confusion.

Attention new families to the district, all ski days are paid for by the individual skiing, not the school. Prices will come with future paperwork. The school provides transportation and setting up the lessons at a discounted rate from the ski hills. Please call the school with further questions.

Due to delivery delays, the menu for Wednesday will change as follows:
K-6 will be served Fingersteaks, wedges, green beans, grapes and fresh veggies.
7-12 will be served French dip sandwiches.

Dear Parents,
We are making props for the Christmas Program and are in need of a Charlie Brown Christmas tree and some cardboard. The cardboard should be flat for at least 2 ft tall and 2 ft wide. If there is a crease in that two feet it won't lay right.
Thank you.
Music teacher, Rachael Bird

We had 4 athletes compete at the State Cross Country Meet today in Eagle, ID. Despite the sleet and hail our athletes peaked at the perfect time. Azelynn Jones placed 3rd and set a new personal record. Shaving approximately 32 seconds off of her top time throughout the regular season. This is Azelynn's third appearance at the state meet and the third time receiving a medal! That's an accomplishment for the ages! Mateus Brown and Evan Ulsh made their first appearance and both set personal records. Mateus was able to shave 3 seconds off his previous personal record and Evan reduced his time by 23 seconds. Wyatt Foster made his second appearance at the state meet and set a new season record. His state time was 6 seconds faster than his regular season record. All four athletes have worked extremely hard throughout the season and represented the Mustang Nation well at the state meet! Congrats to all four of them!

New Swag! Check out the flyer and QR code for more information! Go Mustangs!
